The Awesome Lift is currently made of an aluminum housing and foot platform, with powder coated stainless steel mounting plated for strength. Once the receiving plates are mounted, the lift connects to it like a trailer hitch system. Then adjusted to the height needed and secured in place. Two hydraulic hoses then run to the operating pump, powered by a 12v battery and controlled by a wireless remote control.

The Awesome Lift capacity is strong. It uses a hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower the foot platform as needed. Being hydraulics, it is rated as high as the pump, hoses, connectors and cylinder are rated at but we put it at 400 lbs. If more of a max weight is required , then it can be custom made. There shouldn't be any reason this lift is over stressed when used as recommended. It anchors securely to you boat deck or dock, like a trailer hitch with how strong and secure that is.
